CP new cheats!

Ok, the conch shell pin is at the Iceberg. And for those bums who can’t figure out the EPF test, here’s how to do it:

Click on the phone booth

Hit the target with the snowball

Go on the green square

Run to the red square as soon as you can

Get off the red square

Go under the camera

Do NOT go on the blue square

Go in the elevator

You’re done!

Untitled (I do not know why I put this.)

Brendan: This is about all the stuff we did this weekend. For example, I had a baseball game across the street (literally) and some guy got hit in the bottom. LOL! 😀

Maeleen: On Saturday the whole family enjoyed the 43rd Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Japantown.  We ate teriyaki musubi, spam musubi, chocolate mochi and ice shave.  Julia played games in the Sanrio-sponsored Hello Kitty section and won prizes.  The best part was the weather.  We were actually warm.   Such a sunny day. It should always be like this in San Francisco. We also listened to Taiko Drums I love that and window-shopped.

Bye!

Highlights of Grammie, Grandpa and Uncle Jamie’s visit

Maeleen: Grammie, Grandpa and Uncle Jamie are my mom, dad and younger brother, respectively.  They came from Hawaii – the Big Island and Los Angeles to visit us for my 40th birthday spectacular.

Highlights of their visit include getting lost on the way to Fisherman’s Wharf/Pier 39 and ending up in Oakland. This after my Dad praising me for my sense of direction Oy vay.  Forunately we retained our composure and no one had to go to the bathroom so all was well.  I kept thinking in the hour or so detour of traffic that we would enjoy, really enjoy our lunch in Japantown.  Which we totally did.   Mom, Dad, Jamie, Brendan and I ate a delicious meal at this kind of hole in the wall place.  So delicious – I would eat there everyday.  I ate a combination ramen/eel lunch.  Ono-licious.

Ok, so byebye!

😀

New CP pin and whatever!

Ok, there’s a NEW pin on CP. It’s called the Frog Pin. It’s at the Dock.  Appropriate, huh? That’s because there’s an obstacle that’s a frog in Hydro-Hopper. Yeah, and my sister Julia knocked me off a piano bench today. You may be asking, “She knocked you off? She’s younger than you!” Well, I was busy playing piano! Jeez… Well there’s no picture cause I don’t even know how. I think I might though. I have an idea. And anyway, I already got the Frog Pin, so I can’t show you the message. 😦

-Brendan-

Oh Brendan is so funny.  His sister did knock him off the piano bench and it tipped over too.  She is a tough little girl, she is.

All four of us went to the Legion of Honor today to see the Cartier exhibit.  Cartier is French so the “r” is not pronounced.  We were in luck because there was a quartet playing jazz tunes and when the leader asked if anyone wanted to join in singing “When the Saints Coming Marching In…”, Brendan enthusiastically said “I do!” and the quartet laughed.  Love that enthusiasm.   Then when we were watching the playing a Museum person asked if Brendan wanted to join in on the Art happening for young children.  I smiled but did not commit as I wanted to see what Brendan would say.  He was a bit reluctant but I knew he would like it so I urged him to do it.  I followed his group as they took a tour of the Cartier exhibit on the bottom floor of the Museum.  I was very happy with him because he stayed with the group and was delighted in what he saw.  He was fully engaged.  Julia and John followed behind us and we met up at the end then took a quick look in the gift shop while Brendan and company went upstairs to work on a clock craft project.

We are so lucky to have arrived at the Museum at 1:43 right on time for the 2pm Art for Kids program that we did not even know was happening today.  We are also really lucky to live just 15 minutes away from great art like Rodin and fancy puffed sofas and beautiful glassware.

I purchased postcards of Cartier necklaces and was tempted to try on one of their crystal tiaras.  I might have to try one on next time and have someone take a picture.  So bright and shiny.  I also looked at a beautiful $740+ necklace that the museum had and will have only for the exhibit.  It was stunning but as I would rather have my children schooled and educated, I think not.

All in all, a brilliant day.  We even saw kite surfers on the way going and back.  And Pupper  fell asleep after whining about not getting a tiny little wind up flashlight that I got for Brendan when we attended the King Tutenkhamun exhibit at the De Young Museum.

(Brendan: Pupper is my little sister Julia who knocked me down today. But of course I still love her.)

Goodbye!  🙂

Hello world!

Ok, so my name is Brendan. I like Pokemon and Club Penguin. Go CP! Your turn, Mom. 😛

My name is Mom, ha ha.  My name is Maeleen and Brendan and I decided to start a blog together on WordPress because we like sharing our lives.  We do a lot of fun things together like eat lunch and read on the couch.  I like chic lit books, especially British ones about single women. I like using words like “brilliant” and “one-off” in my speech.

See ya!
